Terms & Conditions
Effective date: August 15, 2026
Applies to: purchases and use of paid licenses for Local Media Player+ from this effective date onward, subject to applicable law and the Freemius agreements referenced below.
Lifetime does not mean perpetual support or guaranteed perpetual availability.
A Lifetime License is a one-time license without recurring renewal payments and is always subject to the applicable Freemius End User License Agreement (“EULA”), these Terms, and mandatory law.
“Lifetime” does not constitute a guarantee that Local Media Player+ itself, its development, updates, maintenance, support, compatibility, distribution, hosting, or related services will continue indefinitely.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) supplement the Freemius End User License Agreement applicable to Local Media Player+ and any other terms incorporated into that agreement at checkout.
The current Freemius EULA for Local Media Player+ is available at the Local Media Player+ EULA page.
By purchasing a paid license through Freemius Checkout, the purchaser accepts the agreements presented or incorporated at checkout. If these Terms conflict with the Freemius EULA, Freemius terms governing the purchase, or mandatory applicable law, the conflicting provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary to comply with those controlling terms or law.
A purchase grants a license to use Local Media Player+ according to the plan, license scope, activation limits, restrictions, Purchase Term, and other conditions stated in Freemius Checkout and the applicable EULA.
Purchase of a license does not transfer ownership of Local Media Player+ or its intellectual-property rights to the purchaser.
A “Lifetime License” is a one-time license and does not require recurring renewal payments unless the purchaser later chooses another paid product, plan, service, or offer.
“Lifetime” describes the license plan and does not create a guarantee that Local Media Player+ itself, its development, updates, maintenance, support, compatibility, distribution, hosting, licensing infrastructure, or related services will continue indefinitely.
A Lifetime License does not create an obligation for the Vendor to:
Where the Product remains technically usable after development, support, distribution, or commercial operation has ended, these Terms do not by themselves require the Vendor to remotely disable that existing functionality. Any license termination or feature blocking remains subject to the applicable EULA, technical capabilities, and law.
Updates, maintenance, compatibility work, bug fixes, upgrades, and technical support may be provided by the Vendor while the Product is actively maintained, but no promise is made that any particular feature, platform, format, website, codec, device, browser version, or third-party service will remain supported forever.
Support and maintenance are also subject to the applicable Freemius EULA. The EULA may contain additional limitations, exclusions, or termination rules that apply even to Lifetime Licenses.
Local Media Player+ may change over time. Features may be added, modified, replaced, restricted, or removed when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform compatibility, technical feasibility, abuse prevention, third-party-service changes, or continued operation of the Product.
The Vendor does not guarantee that every present feature, integration, codec behavior, online source, website, API, or user-interface element will remain unchanged for the entire life of the Product.
The Vendor may retire, discontinue, or cease active maintenance or commercial distribution of Local Media Player+ when continued operation is no longer reasonably feasible or commercially sustainable.

Where reasonably practicable, the Vendor may provide advance notice of a planned retirement and may take reasonable transition measures. No specific notice period is promised by these Terms where circumstances make advance notice impracticable or impossible.
Retirement or discontinuation of the Product does not convert a Lifetime License into a promise that the Vendor must continue development, support, infrastructure, compatibility work, or commercial operation indefinitely.
Local Media Player+ depends in part on third-party platforms, browsers, browser stores, APIs, operating systems, payment and licensing services, content sources, websites, networks, and other external systems that the Vendor does not control.
The Vendor cannot guarantee the continued availability, policies, pricing, technical behavior, compatibility, or existence of any third-party platform or service. A third party may change or discontinue its service without the Vendor's consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Vendor will not be responsible for delay, interruption, inability to update or support the Product, or failure to perform a non-payment obligation when caused by circumstances beyond the Vendor's reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, fire, flood, widespread infrastructure or internet failures, war, invasion, armed conflict, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental actions or restrictions, sanctions, export restrictions, strikes, serious service-provider outages, widespread cyber incidents, changes imposed by browser or extension-store operators, unavailability of essential third-party services, and other comparable events beyond the Vendor's reasonable control.
If such circumstances permanently prevent reasonable continuation of the Product, they may result in retirement or discontinuation under Section 6.
Paid purchases are processed through Freemius and its payment providers. Payment processing, taxes, billing, order acceptance, refunds, cancellations, and related purchase matters are governed by the terms, refund policy, and legal notices presented or incorporated by Freemius at checkout, together with mandatory applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms promises a refund beyond rights provided by the applicable Freemius agreements, Vendor refund policy, or non-waivable law.
The disclaimers and limitations of liability contained in the applicable Freemius EULA apply according to their terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or waives a warranty, remedy, consumer right, statutory right, or liability that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, it will be limited or interpreted only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms may be updated when the Product, licensing model, service providers, legal requirements, platform rules, or business arrangements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current published version.
Material changes will apply subject to the applicable Freemius agreements and mandatory law. These Terms are not intended to retroactively remove vested rights that cannot lawfully be changed after purchase.
